Abstract:

The main aim of this paper is to determine the capable areas for cultivating pistachio through considering of Geo statistical Analysis the major effective factors. The necessary climatic daily data of weather stations For the 300 synoptic stations, the station was set up by 2016. The topographic data include relief, slope, aspect, and TIN layers extracts from 1: 250000 topographic maps of the region. The maps of land use and vegetation land cover were prepared from the 1: 250000 maps of national soil and water Research Institute. The spatial analysis facilities of GIS were utilized for numerical calculation and the spatial geodatabase of the region was established. Then spatial and description data was entered into the data bank. Finally by overlaying analysis in ArcGIS, cultivated area was classified according to its capabilities. The results showed that 707273/88 KM2 Of the area (43%), Not suitable for spreading pistachio cultivation (Including altitudes and urban use and steep slopes, seaside and riverside streams, shoals, saline and swampy lands) and 585130/39 KM2 (35/57%) From the country of Iran Area Including plain areas and agricultural use) was recognized as suitable for the expansion of pistachio cultivation. These areas are located in the east and south east, center and northeastern Iran.

Abstract:

The aim of the present study was to analyze the live weight, body length, and chest perimeter in Blackhead Pleven lambs at an early age with a view to their future use as prognostic indicators of growth performance. The study was conducted with 46 lambs. It found out that at birth and weaning the singletons had higher live weight and higher average daily weight gain in comparison with the twins (P<0.01). Body length and chest perimeter at birth were higher in the singletons lambs (P<0.01). The type of birth influenced signifi-cantly (P<0.01) on the live weight (h2=26.85%), live weight (h2=21.39%) and the chest perimeter (h2=27.08%) of the lambs at birth. At 26 days of age i.e. at weaning, only the live weight was influenced by the birth type (h2=27.53%, P<0.01). The chest perimeter of lambs at weaning was not influenced by the body length at birth and at weaning. There was a moderate to strong phenotypic correlation among the other studied parameters.

Abstract:

To investigate the effect of weed interference and weed-free periods on Balangu (Lallemantia royleana Benth. in Wall) and to evaluate the critical period of weed control (CPWC) in this oilseed crop, an experiment was conducted as a randomized complete block design with three replications in Naghadeh region in 2018. Experimental consisted of two groups of treatments; weed infestation treatments (infestation for 144.2, 345.9, 574, 848.2, 1147.6 and 1451.3 growing degree day (GDD) after transplanting and then plots were remained weed-free the rest of the growing season) and weed-free treatments (weeding for 144.2, 345.9, 574, 848.2, 1147.6 and 1451.3 GDD after transplanting and then plots were remained infested until harvesting time). In each block, one weed free and weed infested control was for all the growing season. Results indicated that the density and dry biomass of weeds were increased as weed removal was delayed. In contrast, density and dry biomass of weeds were decreased as weeds establishment was delayed. Height, tetrachenes fruits, ripened achenes, 1000-seed weight and biological, seed and relative yields of Balangu were decreased and increased as the duration of weed-infested and weed-free period increased, respectively. Also, logistic and Gompertz curves fitted to data showed that the beginning and end of the CPWC based on a 10% yield loss of relative yield, was estimated to be from 11 to 108 days after transplanting (97 days weed-free period) in order to prevent a noticeable yield loss.

Abstract:

To investigate the response of corn to combined application of chemical fertilizers with rhizobacteria plant growth promoting, an experiment was conducted in 2017 at Research farm of Agricultural and Natural Resources Campus of Tehran University, Karaj, Iran, in a randomized complete block design with four replications. Four nutritional treatments including T1 (Control treatment without applying fertilizer), T2 (Just PGPRs), T3 (Use chemical fertilizers based on soil test) and T4 (T3 + PGPRs) were considered. According to the results, the highest total dry weight (3.9 kg/m2), crop growth rate (79.8 g.m-2.day-1), net assimilation rate (15.3 g.m-2.day-1) and grain yield (18.2 ton.ha-1) were observed in T4 treatment and T2 treatment produced the highest  leaf area index (5.3), leaf area duration (205.2) and specific leaf weight (78.5 g.m-2) . Also, the lowest value of all traits was observed in in T1 (control) treatment. The results showed that the presence of rhizobacteria plant growth promotioninduction in the corn nutrition program increased the growth and growth indices of the plant. Combined application of chemical fertilizers with rhizobacteria plant growth promoting resulted in the highest growth and final grain yield of corn.

Abstract:

The main objective of this article is studying the freezing phenomenon and its influence on Ardebil township agricultural crop production.Minimum daily temperature data of the Ardebil Meteorology Station (from 1977 up 1998) were used and different statistical methods were applied. Results indicate that the period of freezing tend to untimely fall freezing (towards beginning of fall) and late spring freezing (from beginning of spring to middle of it) and the duration of growth season in often selected years is more than its mean. The coefficient of weak correlation was set up and the untimely and late freezing did not have remarkable influence. The regression coefficient proved that dates of freezing and duration of growth seasons had gradually changes and oscillation. In return for each increasing unit in time unit (year), so that the process line of spring freezing tended to middle of spring and the fall freezing from beginning of fall tended to middle of it and consequently duration of growth season had decreased. The mean of happening time was not fixed, but difference in some days toward its mean had changes and oscillation from year to year.

Abstract:

Background: Breast cancer is a multifactorial potentially lethal disease that is triggered by genetic factors as well as numerous environmental factors. The present research aimed to examine the expression of Vascular endothelial growth factor messenger RNA (VEGF mRNA), cytokeratin-19 mRNA (CK19 mRNA), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) protein biomarker in the peripheral blood of patients with breast cancer. Methods: 40 patients with breast cancer were compared to 40 healthy individuals. The real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (real-time RT-PCR) method was used to determine the expressions of the CK19 mRNA and VEGF mRNA biomarkers in the peripheral blood samples of the healthy participants and the patients. The VEGF protein was also compared using the (ELISA) method.Findings: The positive VEGF mRNA biomarker was observed in 30 of the 40 patients with breast cancer; thus the sensitivity of this marker was 75%. In the healthy participants group, 6 of the 40 participants showed a positive VEGF mRNA biomarker expression. The CK19 mRNA marker was positive in 25 of the 40 patients, which indicated a sensitivity of 62.5%. In the healthy participants group, the positive expression of the CK19 mRNA biomarker was observed in 7 of the 40 participants. VEGF was positive in 27 of the 40 patients. In the control group, 5 of the 40 participants showed the positive expression of this biomarker. Conclusion: In sum, based on the results of this research, the assessed breast cancer tumor markers can be used as screening tests for the early diagnosis of patients. To further prove the findings of this study, more extensive studies with larger sample sizes are recommended.

Abstract:

In this study, biomass dry weight [DW (0.912 g/L)] was markedly enhanced at pH of 10 for 24 h of aeration. The maximum production of protein (14.239 mg/L) was obtained at the highest photoperiod. The highest content of PC and APC (0.129 and 0.099 mg/L, respectively) was recorded at pH of 10 for 24 h of aeration. The highest content of total chlorophyll (Ca and Cb) and carotenoids (K) (6.436, 3.421, and 2.856 mg/L) was recorded at pH of 9. The content of photosynthesis pigments (Ca, Cb, and K) was reduced by increasing pH from 9 to 10, while the high alkaline pH (10) may favor the over-production of biomass, protein, phycobiliprotein pigments (PC and APC). Moreover,  A. maxima increased the accumulation of photosynthesis pigment under strong illumination and decreased the accumulation of phycobiliprotein pigments by increasing the light irradiance time from 12 to 24 h.

Abstract:

Araucaria excelsa L. of Araucariaceae family is a beautiful conifer which has a high economic importance in the flower industry. A factorial experiment based on randomized completely block design with two factors: 1. Irrigation intervals in 2, 4 and 6 days (I1, I2 and I3) and 2. The growth bed in pots 3 L included M1 (100% v/v cocopeat), M2 (100% municipal waste compost), M3 (100% vermicompost), M4 (25% cocopeat+25% perlite+25% soil+25% municipal waste compost), M5 (25% cocopeat+25% vermicompost +25 % soil+25% perlite) and M6 (25% vermicompost+25% municipal waste compost+25 % perlite+25% soil) was conducted with 18 treatments in three replications. Traits that were measured in this experiment included height of the crown, number of lateral shoot, branches distance, number of branches, length of lateral shoot, fresh weight of root and shoot, total fresh weight, dry weight of root and shoot, total dry weight. The results showed that the growth indices increased in 100% vermicompost. The treatment I1M3 was the best treatment in the growth of plant. The 100% vermicompost bed had a better response to 6 days irrigation than in the other beds, but it was observed a considerable difference in the growth indices between 6 days and 2 days periods of irrigation.
